A large part of my role as the creative social lead for Capital One was ideating and executing social content for the many events they sponsor every year. Over my time on the team I attended close to a dozen multi-day events where I prepped hundreds of files, directed our videographers, photographers, editors, talent and influencers, played producer at times, and fielded client feedback live. This work happened in the backseat of Ubers, near any plug we could find in a stadium, on the field at the World Series, at floor seats at the Eras Tour, and even in the kitchen at food and wine festivals. We were constantly optimizing for efficiency, looking for unexpected content opportunities, and earning our clients’ trust along the way.
